Syracuse Technology Garden selected Packet TV digital signage systems for their state of the art Syracuse, NY head quarters. The location was installed using a 50" Pioneer plasma commercial display using a Chief Q-Latch wall mount. Due to issues with the wall angle as well as weight concerns, extensive bracing was constructed prior to install to support the weight on the display. Packet TV chose Dynasign software configured on the PacketCast media player to power the network.
Business information, live CATV, RSS, data feeds as well as events sponsored by both the Technology Garden and the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce are scheduled and displayed. The digital signage system enhances client information and reduces perceived wait time while promoting the "tech brand" for the garden in a non-obtrusive fashion.
Day to day operations and monitoring are handled in combination with Packet TV and personnel at the Syracuse Technology Garden through the use of the Dynasign web GUI. The system now provides an effective visual platform for the customer to market its services in a personal and localized manner.
